The Employee Ownership Foundation’s goal is to help more individuals become employee owners. The funds we raise during ESOPATHON advance that mission by both supporting existing ESOPs and growing their number so more Americans and communities can benefit. You can read some of the research supported by the EOF here

Additionally, baby boomers own about half of all privately held firms nationwide. As these owners retire, the local business landscape is shifting dramatically. Employee ownership, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans, addresses the Silver Tsunami by providing viable business succession plans that lead to job retention and dollars staying local.  In a new video series in conjunction with The ESOP Association, the Employee Ownership Foundation explores the benefits of transferring business ownership to employees. Click here to watch this video series and learn more about the Employee Ownership Foundation.
